Problem grasses, broadleaf weeds and rice flatsedge are no match for pre-flood applications of Grasp®, Clincher® SF, and Grandstand® R herbicides.
Grasp® Herbicide
Controls
1-to-4-leaf, pre-tillered barnyardgrass (including propanil- and quinclorac-resistant biotypes), plus rice flatsedge and many broadleaf weeds, including smartweed, coffeebean (hemp sesbania), jointvetch (indigo), dayflower, eclipta and ducksalad in drill-seeded and water-seeded rice. Also provides suppression of perennial barnyardgrass and alligatorweed.
Early season annual grasses such as barnyardgrass, sprangletop, broadleaf signalgrass and fall panicum at the 1-to-3-leaf stage when mixed with a residual grass herbicide such as Command, Facet or pendimethalin.
Tough broadleaf weeds such as alligatorweed, coffeebean (hemp sesbania), morningglory and Texasweed in rice from the 2-to-3-leaf stage of growth. Add propanil or Grasp® herbicides for broad-spectrum control of broadleaf weeds, annual grasses and sedges, even in a CLEARFIELD™ rice program.
